Nora Kreisl & Ramon Grendene : Up and down

Starting with the idea of developing a font which can communicate a dialog, we built a typeface out of two different fonts. A sans serif joins together with a serif and is copied, reprinted and rescanned. Finally it becomes a type game, where you can pull the letters up or down to read the message(s).

With further processing it would be possible to program a font that can be written on both sides. For example as a random font that generates overlapping messages which are only legible with special eyeglasses (red and green).
