workshop on type design, hold by Underware for the students at the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, USA. The workshop takes place in 6th - 11th of April 2003 in Detroit.
general information and the assignment in brief
One week workshop where the whole group of 15 students are working together on one subject, stencil typeface. The type can be cut out of out paper, metal, wood, or whatever. The student are challenged to find a strong concept/problem, and to realize it as a digital typeface which is applied to its purpose.
